In Rainbows

Radiohead - In Rainbows So, have you bought the new Radiohead album? I did. It’s the best thing they’ve released since Kid A (before they became boring). But aside from being a great album, In Rainbows is worth buying for its historical importance. This is the first proverbial nail in the coffin of the big recording companies. In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last month, you can buy the album directly from the band in two formats: an awesome gift pack including vinyl and CD versions (40 pounds) or a DRM-free MP3 version. The price? It’s up to you.

No really, it’s up to you.

Seriously, go there and get it. It’s worth every penny – no matter how many you’re going to spend.

UPDATE: Check this out: Madonna has just dumped the record industry! Let’s drink to that!
