Laaaazy

Whoa, it’s been a while! Time to dust off the blog and type something for a change.

I’m on vacation from the corporate world until early october so there are lots of different lazy things I can think of before doing anything productive - which is good once in a while. So instead of working on my non-cubicle (because I don’t have one), I’m spending some of my do-nothing time on music (hooray!). Right now I’m finishing three tracks for Concert for harp and notebook and co-producing a new album with Nervoso e os Calmantes. Pretty lazy, yes. ;-)

In the meantime, I even did two new tracks. One is for an upcoming Kraftwerk tribute CD. I really just took some stuff I used to play on my live set and gave a finishing touch. It’s not one of my best, but doesn’t sound bad either.

Machine Machine (Kraftwerk Tribute)
(FZero, Kraftwerk | MP3 5.8Mb/160 Kbits/s)

The other one was done basically because of Ze Frank’s The Show. On the september 18th show he mentioned a guy called Ray that recorded a song to comfort his daughter, which was under stress at her job. He then decided to put the mp3 online so that it could comfort other people. Really cool, innit? But to everyone’s surprise, Ray’s voice is even cooler. Ze Frank went on and asked the viewers for Ray remixes, so if someone ever discovers where he lives, he can hand him a CD with them. So I made one.

Whip that ass (feat. Ray) (cc)
(FZero, Ray | MP3 2.9Mb/VBR)

To my surprise, Ze picked my remix and used it on the sempember 21st show. This internet thing can be really cool sometimes. :-)

As always, the tracks are also available at the downloads page. Have fun!
